7.5" tall 6" x 4" The Lava or Volcanic glaze was popular during the Mid Century Modern era. It can be a tricky glaze. It foams up during the high heat of the kiln firing and the bubbles pop and settle back down. If the firing is not stopped at the right time then the result can be fragile bubbles that break and leave sharp dangerous edges or the bubbles have popped, melted, and the effect mostly lost.
